how to cure cholesterol naturally

Hi -My total cholesterol is 6.45 mmol/l However my HDL is 2.83 mmol/l and LDL is 2.93 mmol/l. HDL C Ratio is 2.38 and Small LDL Cholesterol is 26.11 mg/dl All the results came in as okay except for 6.45 overall level.To get to below 5 total cholesterol I will need to reduce LDL to 1.48 and is this achievable by diet?
